Security Officer Part Time Patrol Alarm Console

About the role

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a healthcare location in Austin, TX, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will respond to security-related concerns, communicate professionally, and deliver service with integrity.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies in a healthcare manufacturing location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, production areas, offices, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials as required, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical-related emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate with appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
• Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift logs while communicating relevant observations to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.

Requirements

• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortably using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Thursday: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
