Security Officer Part Time Luxury Retail

About the role

As a Part-Time Security Officer at a premier commercial real estate location in Los Angeles, CA, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for tenants and visitors. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and other clients by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, common areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, contractor, and delivery activity; provide directions and communicate relevant concerns to site management and/or appropriate personnel.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain clear communication with Allied Universal leadership, site contacts, and responding agencies as needed.

Requirements

• Possess at least one year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Preferred qualifications:

• Customer service experience.
• Alarm panel experience.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds.

Pay

$21.50 / hour

Schedule

• Friday: 12:00 PM - 08:00 PM
• Saturday: 12:00 PM - 08:00 PM
• Sunday: 12:00 PM - 08:00 PM
