Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, guests, and retail personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout retail sales areas, entrances, exits, stock areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify unusual activity and potential concerns.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services as directed.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, employee, and delivery activity in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal supervision and site management.

Requirements

• Have at least one year of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licenses required are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
