Security Officer Part Time Loss Prevention Patrol

This role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and retail staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, sales floor, stock areas, entrances, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe customer and visitor activity while maintaining a professional, welcoming presence in a luxury retail environment.
• Respond to incidents, suspicious activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Document security-related observations, incidents, and patrol activity accurately and promptly in accordance with site requirements.

Requirements

• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay Rate: $20.17 / Hour

This role requires a six (6) month commitment and offers the flexibility to pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform.
