Security Officer Part Time Loss Prevention Patrol

About the Role

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a contract logistics location in Newton, MS, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, observe and report security-related concerns, and provide courteous customer service and clear communication. This is a part-time position offering flexibility to build a schedule that works for you through our Claim a Shift platform.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter.

Working environments and conditions may vary by client site. At this site, there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation and drug screen in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay

$16.25 per hour.

• Thursday: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Friday: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Saturday: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
