Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related protocols at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of designated buildings, access points, parking areas, operational areas, and perimeter locations, reporting unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Maintain visitor and contractor entry records and direct individuals in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response activities and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear and accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation, while communicating relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licenses are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test.
