Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and/or staff by following site-specific procedures, access guidelines, and emergency response protocols at a retail location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts when appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout common areas, parking areas, storefront corridors, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and support security-related policies.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help address policy violations, assist with directional questions, and report maintenance, hazards, and/or suspicious activity to the appropriate personnel.
- Support closing and opening activities as assigned, including checking designated access points, observing for after-hours concerns, and completing routine reports related to daily operations.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
