About the role
As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond professionally to concerns.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities within a healthcare setting.
- Respond to incidents, behavioral health concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and facility information, and report unusual conditions or policy violations to site leadership.
- Prepare clear, accurate incident reports and maintain communication with Allied Universal supervision and site personnel regarding daily activities and security-related matters.
Requirements
- Possess at least one year of security-related experience.
- Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Possess at least two years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation and drug screen in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

$18.36 / hour
