Security Officer Part Time Healthcare Patrol

About the role

As an Unarmed Patrol Driver in Whiteville, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as healthcare. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. You will provide exceptional customer service and communication while reflecting Allied Universal’s caring, reliable, and integrity-driven culture.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of healthcare buildings, parking areas, entrances, and surrounding perimeter to help identify unusual activity and potential concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and escorts as assigned, and report unauthorized access or suspicious behavior.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site personnel and Allied Universal leadership.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• At least one year of security-related experience.
• At least 21 years of age (18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

$15.25 / hour

• Part-time
• Day shifts: 07:00 AM - 07:00 PM on Saturday and Sunday
