What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare setting.
- Respond to incidents, medical-related disruptions, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site personnel and/or emergency responders as directed.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout assigned buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site policies, assisting with directions and maintaining a professional presence in patient-care areas.
- Complete required daily activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications accurately and in accordance with Allied Universal and site procedures.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
Pay & Schedule
Pay Rate: $18.54 / Hour
Job Schedule: Day Time, Saturday 07:00 PM - 07:00 AM, Sunday 07:00 PM - 07:00 AM
