About the role

As a Part‑Time Security Officer (Unarmed Patrol) at a health facility in Orange, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in various industries, including commercial real‑estate properties. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, monitor access points, and support badge and access‑control procedures while providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property‑management personnel by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency‑response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of commercial‑property interiors, exterior areas, parking facilities, and perimeter locations to identify and report unusual activity or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, documenting observations and incidents as required.
• Communicate professionally with tenants, visitors, contractors, and public‑service personnel while supporting a welcoming commercial‑real‑estate environment.

Requirements

• Customer‑service experience is preferred.
• Ability to comfortably use a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lb is preferred.
• Access‑control and badge experience is preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles (21+ for armed roles).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Successful background investigation in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screening as permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply based on state or local regulations.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.
