Security Officer Part Time Entry Verification

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and contractors by following site‑specific security‑related procedures and front desk policies at a telecommunications and media location.
• Greet and screen visitors, verify identification and appointments, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate visitor logs in accordance with site requirements.
• Monitor access to the facility, manage incoming calls and deliveries, and direct guests to appropriate personnel or locations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Maintain clear communication with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership regarding security‑related concerns, unusual activity, and access‑control issues.

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment, subject to state and/or local laws and regulations.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Pay

$19.89 per hour

Schedule

Daytime – Thursday: 2:00 PM – 12:00 AM; Friday: 2:00 PM – 12:00 AM
