Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a food and beverage production location.
- Maintain a secure environment by monitoring entry points, verifying credentials, managing visitor access, and using computer or tablet-based systems.
- Respond to access-control incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; promptly communicate concerns to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, exits, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.
Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
- At least six months of security-related experience is required.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications include being at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Applicants must also meet Allied Universal's background investigation and drug screening requirements.
