What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
- Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, issue or collect credentials as directed, and maintain access-control records.
- Observe inbound and outbound vehicle traffic, delivery activity, and restricted areas; report unusual activity or access concerns according to site procedures.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and documenting events as required.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, perimeter, parking areas, and access points to help deter unauthorized entry and identify security-related concerns.
Minimum Requirements
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
