Security Officer Part Time - Entrance Verification

About the role

As a Part-Time Security Officer (Entrance Verification) in Richmond Hill, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Logistics & Distribution. This role involves screening people and materials, monitoring access points, and reporting security-related concerns to maintain a secure environment. You will provide professional customer service and clear communication while supporting smooth operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Screen individuals, packages, and property entering or leaving the facility in accordance with site procedures, documenting and reporting irregularities as appropriate.
• Monitor access points, shipping and receiving areas, and restricted locations to help deter unauthorized entry and protect the flow of shipments.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter, reporting security-related concerns and potential hazards.

Requirements

• At least 6 months of security-related experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Subject to a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Preferred Qualifications

• CPR certification.
• Access control and badge experience.
• Customer service experience.
• Guard card or license.

Pay

$16.87 per hour.

Schedule

• Thursday: 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM
• Friday: 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM
