As a Security Officer Part Time - Entrance in Blythewood, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control practices, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and report concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, deliveries, and visitor activity in support of security-related protocols for a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Support day-to-day operations by observing for hazards, equipment issues, and/or policy concerns, then reporting findings to the appropriate personnel.

Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• A minimum of 2 years of law enforcement, military, and/or corrections experience is required.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Skills

• Computer or tablet proficiency.
• Access control and badge experience.
• Customer service experience.
