Security Officer Entry Control - Part Time

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or personnel by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorizations, and help to deter unauthorized access to buildings, yards, gates, and loading areas.
• Respond to incidents, access issues, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, perimeter, parking areas, and trailer or dock locations, with working environments and conditions varying by site.
• Support daily operations by maintaining accurate visitor and/or delivery records, observing site activity, and reporting unusual or suspicious behavior related to security-related concerns.

Requirements

• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• All applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• All applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
