Responsibilities
- Provide customer service by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and document arrivals, departures, and delivery activity in accordance with post instructions.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through the proper chain of command when needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, perimeter, loading areas, and trailer yards to help support security-related awareness and identify unusual activity.
- Communicate with drivers, employees, vendors, and visitors regarding access procedures, directions, and site rules while helping to maintain orderly traffic flow at the location.
Minimum Requirements
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

This role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

Schedule
Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites.
