Security Officer Part Time Customer Service Patrol

About the role

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a premier retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming customer experience. You will communicate professionally with guests and team members while reporting observations and responding to security-related concerns.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to clients, visitors, and retail personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the luxury retail location, including sales areas, entrances, stock areas, and the surrounding perimeter.
• Monitor access points and observe customer and visitor activity to help deter theft, unauthorized entry, and other suspicious behavior.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Document patrols, incidents, and notable observations accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Requirements

• Possess at least one year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay

$20.60 / hour

• Friday: 11:00 AM - 08:00 PM
• Saturday: 11:00 AM - 08:00 PM
