Security Officer Part Time Customer Service Patrol

About the Role

As a Part-Time Security Officer supporting a government location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. You will help support a welcoming environment while responding to security-related concerns with professionalism and integrity. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at government facilities.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry in accordance with established site procedures, helping to maintain orderly operations within public-facing locations.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or maintenance concerns.
• Complete required activity logs, incident reports, and shift communications accurately and in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

Requirements

• Possession of a guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Friday: 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM
• Saturday: 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM
