Security Officer Part Time Bicycle Patrol Response

About the role

Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Security Officer at a dynamic retail location. Conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, observe and report concerns, and provide exceptional customer service to guests and tenants.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to shoppers, tenants, and visitors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and contact emergency personnel and/or management as needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout retail areas, common spaces, parking areas, and the property perimeter to help identify suspicious activity and potential hazards.
• Monitor access points, report unauthorized activity, and document incidents and patrol findings in accordance with site procedures.
• Aid with crowd management, customer inquiries, and store or property emergencies while maintaining a professional and courteous presence.

Requirements

• Be able to ride a bike.
• Ability to ride a bike for long periods of time is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
