About the role

As a Security Officer Part Time Patrol Response in Columbus, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to personnel, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at utility operations locations.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and notification procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of utility facilities, buildings, parking areas, perimeter areas, and access points to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Maintain accurate visitor, vehicle, and incident documentation.
  • Communicate observed conditions and relevant information to site contacts, Allied Universal leadership, and emergency personnel as directed.

Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licenses are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
