Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol Response

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a financial services location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing relevant details with site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, including lobbies, offices, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter points, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, helping to verify credentials, direct guests, and report suspicious behavior and/or policy violations.
• Support day-to-day operations by maintaining a visible presence, assisting with routine inquiries, and communicating clearly with employees, visitors, and/or first responders when needed.

Requirements

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Minimum age requirement for unarmed roles: 18 years old.
• Minimum age requirement for armed roles: 21 years old.
• Must be able to pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Must be able to pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licenses and certifications may be required prior to employment based on state and/or local laws and regulations.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
