As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor access points, conduct routine foot and bicycle patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will deliver exceptional customer service, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and support badge and access-control processes.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of offices, common areas, parking areas, building perimeters, and other designated locations to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and report access-control concerns or suspicious activity to the appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and complete incident reports in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
• Maintain professional communication with site contacts and emergency responders, escalating security-related concerns according to established post orders.

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be able to ride a bike.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Baton certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
