Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and assigned security-related duties at a technology and telecommunications location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details through appropriate communication channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, offices, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials when required, and support emergency response activities in accordance with post instructions and location policies.
• Document observations, incidents, and daily activities, and communicate clearly with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership regarding security-related matters and/or operational concerns.

Requirements

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Must pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Must be willing to undergo a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licenses are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
