Security Officer Part Time

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or employees by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and other security-related policies at a financial institution location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency services when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including interior areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter access points, to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor entrances, lobbies, and other restricted areas, verify credentials as required, and document security-related incidents, observations, and/or daily activities in accordance with post procedures.
• Support emergency response activities, including alarms, evacuations, and/or medical incidents, while following post orders and providing clear information to the appropriate contacts.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications for this position include:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
