Security Officer Part Time

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control protocols, and/or emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting security-related events according to site procedures.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter, with attention to unusual activity and/or access concerns.
- Support vehicle and pedestrian traffic flow at gates and access points, communicating clearly with drivers, visitors, and site personnel regarding entry requirements and site rules.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licenses requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
