Security Officer Part Time Armed Patrol

As a Part-Time Security Officer, you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. Join Allied Universal as an armed patrol professional at a retail location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide exceptional customer service. This role requires Level III Armed Certification in Texas. Bring clear communication, integrity, and teamwork to a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative team.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to store personnel, customers, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and contacting appropriate support resources.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, observe customer and employee activity, and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, hazards, and maintenance concerns to site leadership and/or appropriate personnel.
• Complete required incident reports, daily activity logs, and other documentation accurately and in a timely manner.

Requirements

• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

$17.25 per hour

Schedule

Part-time. Friday 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM, Saturday 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM.
