Security Officer Part Time Armed Patrol

About the role

As an Armed Patrol Inspection Security Officer in Shreveport, LA, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Financial Institutions. This part-time role offers flexibility to build a schedule that works for you using our Claim a Shift platform. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns while providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, members, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a financial services location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and escalation protocols.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for employees, visitors, contractors, and deliveries in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Document patrols, incidents, unusual activity, and security-related observations accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Requirements

• Possess a valid armed guard card or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay

Pay Rate: $16.50 per hour.

Schedule

• Part Time
• Saturday: 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM
• Sunday: 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM
