Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer at a government location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. This is a driving and armed post that offers the opportunity to support daily operations through strong communication, professionalism, and customer service while working with an agile, reliable, innovative team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or the public by carrying out assigned security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through appropriate channels.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and support site protocols.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify access permissions when required, and help to deter unauthorized access, prohibited items, and/or policy violations.
• Support emergency and routine operations by communicating with site personnel, assisting with de-escalation when appropriate, and following post orders related to armed assignments and government facility requirements.

Qualifications

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A valid firearms permit is preferred.
• An armed guard card/license is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Pay and schedule

Pay Rate: $21.50 / Hour

Job Schedule: DayTime Mon 05:45 AM - 06:00 PM, Sun 05:45 AM - 06:00 PM
