Join Allied Universal as an armed, driving patrol officer at a government location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support daily operations through professional communication and customer service. In this role, you will contribute to a caring, agile team that values reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity while making a meaningful impact in the community.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or the public by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control practices, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns through proper channels.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas, verifying credentials and/or permissions while following post orders and applicable policies for a controlled government environment.
- Support emergency and routine operations by communicating with site contacts, public agencies, and/or Allied Universal leadership, while maintaining a professional presence and readiness to act within assigned authority.
Requirements
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- A valid firearms permit is preferred.
- An armed guard card or license is preferred.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Day Time: Friday 05:45 AM - 06:00 PM; Sunday 05:45 PM - 06:00 AM

$21.50 / Hour
