Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
  • Monitor and control access to the facility, including verifying credentials, processing visitors, maintaining visitor records, and directing authorized personnel and drivers to designated areas.
  • Observe access points, loading areas, and perimeter activity; report suspicious activity, unauthorized entry attempts, and policy violations in accordance with site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating with site contacts, emergency responders, and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, access points, loading docks, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

  • Valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Skills

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
