Security Officer Part Time Access Specialist

About the role
Join Allied Universal at a residential location where you will monitor entry points, manage access control, and support a welcoming environment for residents and guests. You will remain visible, conduct routine patrols, and help to reduce security-related incidents through strong communication and customer service. Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or vendors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Monitor entry and exit points within a residential community, verify visitor and/or vendor authorization, and help to deter unauthorized access through consistent security-related screening practices.
- Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting security-related activities according to site procedures.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the community, common areas, and perimeter to observe conditions, report unusual activity, and support access control operations.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Qualifications
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.

$17.50 / Hour
Schedule
- Day shift: 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM
- Saturday and Sunday
