As an Access Control Officer in a manufacturing and industrial location, you will help manage entry points, verify authorized access, monitor activity, and support a secure environment for employees, visitors, and operations. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, contractors, drivers, and visitors by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at an industrial manufacturing location.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorization, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and issue or collect access credentials in accordance with site procedures.
- Screen incoming personnel, vehicles, and deliveries as required, direct authorized visitors to appropriate locations, and report access-related concerns to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned entry points, facility areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

- Day shifts: 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM
- Saturday and Sunday shifts available
