Security Officer Part Time Access Control

About the role

As a Security Officer Access Patrol in Garner, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more. This part-time role allows you to build a flexible schedule and explore new opportunities using our Claim a Shift platform. You will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents while supporting a welcoming environment through strong customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter (working environments and conditions may vary by client site).

Requirements

• CPR and First Aid experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• This position is primarily a driving post.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions.

Pay

$18.36 / hour

Schedule

• Thursday: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
• Saturday: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
