Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorization, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and control access to designated areas.
- Cookordinate access for drivers, carriers, and scheduled deliveries, following established check-in, check-out, and vehicle inspection procedures.
- Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate personnel.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of facility access points, parking areas, trailer yards, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
Minimum Requirements
- Have at least two years of security-related experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
- Have loss prevention experience, preferred.
- Hold a state, county, or city-issued security-related license, preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
