As an Access Control Officer at a dynamic logistics and distribution location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and report security-related concerns. Your visible presence and professional communication will help deter incidents while supporting a welcoming experience for employees, visitors, and drivers. Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
- Monitor access points, verify credentials and authorization, manage visitor and contractor entry, and maintain accurate access-control records in accordance with site procedures.
- Screen inbound and outbound personnel, visitors, and vehicles as required, following established protocols for a package-handling and distribution environment.
- Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues according to site procedures.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and report observed concerns.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
