Security Officer Overnight Access Control

About the role

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Driver in Dunn, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Retail/Malls and more. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in the job state and applicants must be at least 21 years old. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, monitor alarm panels and access control systems, and provide outstanding customer service at a retail distribution location.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of distribution areas, loading docks, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel, drivers, and visitors while reporting security-related observations to Allied Universal leadership and/or site management.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
