Security Officer - Nights Full Time

About the role

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Response in Bristol, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service. You will communicate professionally with employees and visitors, report observations, and support a welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and delivery personnel at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify visitor, employee, and contractor authorization in accordance with site-specific access-control procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting actions taken.
• Prepare clear, accurate activity reports and communicate observations, incidents, and maintenance concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
