Job Description

As a Security Officer Patrol Relief in Indianapolis, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal in an unarmed patrol role at a financial institution location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help reduce security-related concerns. You will deliver strong customer service and clear communication while supporting daily operations with a caring, agile approach.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access support, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial services location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including lobbies, offices, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter points, to help identify and report security-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other assigned areas to help support authorized access, observe visitor activity, and report suspicious behavior, maintenance issues, and/or policy violations.
• Complete routine reports, logs, and other assigned documentation related to patrol activity, incidents, and security-related observations in accordance with site policies.

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
