As a Security Officer Dispatch Communications Driver in Carmel, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Dispatch Officer at a utilities location, where you will monitor activity, coordinate communications, and support rapid response to security-related concerns.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities within a utility operations location.
Monitor alarms, communications systems, and/or incoming reports from a dispatch post, documenting activity and relaying information to appropriate personnel in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Respond to incidents, service calls, and/or critical situations by coordinating communication, gathering relevant details, and supporting timely site response actions.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter as assigned, noting unusual conditions and helping to deter unauthorized activity.
Prepare accurate logs, incident reports, and/or dispatch records, and communicate professionally with employees, visitors, contractors, and public agencies as needed.

Requirements

Possess 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or a college degree.
Be 21 or more years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Possess 5 years of industrial security-related experience or 2 years of military, law enforcement, EMT, or fire department service.
Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
