Security Officer Mobile Driver Patrol

About the role

Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer supporting a government transportation location, where you will monitor activity, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, and/or personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts and/or public agencies as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of transit-related locations, including bus yards, terminals, parking areas, buildings, and perimeter access points, with attention to unusual activity and policy concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized access, loitering, and/or policy violations within the location.
• Support daily operations by reporting hazards, maintenance concerns, suspicious activity, and/or other security-related issues to appropriate personnel in a timely manner.

Requirements

• A minimum of 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licenses are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
