Security Officer Mobile Driver Patrol

About the role

Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location, where you will conduct routine patrols, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, including offices, lobbies, common areas, and perimeter locations, helping to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, and/or credential checks in accordance with site protocols, reporting concerns or irregularities to the appropriate personnel.
• Support day-to-day operations by observing site conditions, reporting maintenance or security-related issues, and/or providing directions and assistance to employees, guests, and vendors.

Requirements

• Possess 1+ years' law enforcement experience or 2+ years' security supervisor/manager experience or 3+ years' security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licenses required are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
