Security Officer Mobile Driver Patrol

About the role

Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a utilities location. You will conduct routine patrols, respond to incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, contractors, and/or members of the public while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related protocols at a utilities location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, service calls, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of utility facilities, buildings, access points, parking areas, equipment yards, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and report unusual conditions, hazards, or policy violations to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and shift logs, and communicate relevant information to incoming personnel.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
