Security Officer Mobile Driver Campus

About the role

Join a leading healthcare location where you will conduct routine patrols, respond to incidents, and support staff, patients, and visitors with exceptional customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff, patients, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials when required, and support visitor management processes in accordance with site protocols and healthcare privacy expectations.
• Aid in de-escalation, directions, and general support during routine operations, after-hours activity, and/or emergencies while maintaining professionalism and clear communication.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test.

Skills

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of healthcare facilities and security protocols.
