What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing information with site contacts when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other assigned areas, assisting with access-related procedures and reporting suspicious behavior, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns.
• Support a professional environment by giving directions, answering questions, and assisting with security-related requests while maintaining a visible presence throughout the location.

Minimum Requirements

• Required vaccines for a hospital environment are required.
• Must be able to work in a hospital setting that includes a morgue.
• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting when required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
