Security Officer Driver Patrol

Job Description

As a Security Officer Driver Patrol in Columbus, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Your responsibilities include:

• Carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities.
• Responding to incidents, access concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting them according to site protocols.
• Conducting regular and random patrols throughout buildings, exterior areas, and perimeter locations, remaining aware of changing conditions across the site.
• Monitoring entry and exit activity, verifying credentials as directed by site policy, and helping to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
• Supporting daily operations by communicating with site contacts, following post orders, and assisting with security-related requests in a professional manner.

Minimum Requirements

• Proof of high school diploma or GED is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
