Job Description

As a Security Officer Driver Patrol in Tarrytown, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic healthcare location as a Front Desk Officer, where you will greet visitors, manage access, monitor activity from a stationary post, and support a professional, welcoming environment. In this driving position, you will help with security-related concerns through strong communication, reliability, and teamwork, while reflecting our caring culture, integrity, and innovative approach each day.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service by greeting employees, visitors, and vendors at the front desk, verifying identification and/or credentials, and following site-specific access procedures for a healthcare location.
• Monitor the lobby and reception area for unusual activity, help to deter unauthorized entry, and report security-related concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting emergency services and/or appropriate personnel when needed.
• Maintain visitor logs, issue badges or access materials as directed, and support check-in and sign-in processes in accordance with site policies and procedures.
• Answer phones, provide directions, and assist with general front desk duties while maintaining awareness of security-related procedures and emergency response protocols.

Minimum Requirements

• A minimum of 2+ years of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• A New York State Security Guard License is required.
• Applicants must be 21+ years of age.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
