About the role
As a Security Officer Medical Center Patrol in Towson, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a healthcare location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, using de-escalation and clear communication when interacting with individuals in care settings.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas, assist with access control procedures, and report security-related concerns, hazards, and/or policy violations to site leadership.
- Document daily activities, incidents, and observations in required reports, and coordinate with Allied Universal management and/or local responders when additional support is needed.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field is required.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
Qualifications
