About the role

As a Front Desk Security Professional in a healthcare location, you will greet visitors, manage access, monitor security-related activity, and provide exceptional customer service. You will help create a welcoming, controlled environment through clear communication and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, patients, and staff by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and front desk policies in a healthcare location.
• Greet visitors, manage access in accordance with site procedures, verify identification and credentials, and direct guests to appropriate areas.
• Monitor visitor activity, maintain accurate front desk logs and records, and report unusual activity or policy concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Answer phones, provide general information, and support a professional, welcoming reception environment while helping to deter unauthorized access.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Qualifications

• CPR certification is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.

$18.20 / Hour
